D.C. statehood activists marched for statehood in the July 4, 2010 Palisades Parade. D.C. Statehood - Yes We Can! honored statehood heroes Charles Cassell and Barbara Lett Simmons who rode in the Yes We Can car. The D.C. Statehood Green Party and ACLU Chapter for the National Capital, both strong supporters of D.C. statehood, joined D.C. Statehood - Yes We Can! in marching in the parade.
